
Document Specialist

Salem Land is supporting a client seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Real Estate Document Specialist III to support land and real estate transactions for electric, gas, and clean energy projects. This is an independent, administrative‑focused role working within clearly defined processes and work instructions.
About the Role Key Responsibilities:
Support real estate, financial, and field accounts related to acquisitions
Read and interpret legal land descriptions
Prepare land‑related contracts and agreements using pre‑approved templates
Utilize SAP, LPM, GIS mapping systems, SharePoint, and Excel
Follow detailed, established work instructions for all processes
Collaborate with a small team while supporting a large internal customer base
Review documents received via mail and post office box for accuracy and completeness
Use Adobe PDF to manage documents, including extracting information and saving files appropriately
Enter and maintain data across multiple internal trackers and systems
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in the Right of Way or Real Estate industry as a Document Specialist or similar role
Strong administrative background with exceptional organizational skills
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience reading legal descriptions and reviewing land‑related documents
Comfortable managing high document volume and multiple trackers
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Hybrid schedule: on-site Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Remote work Wednesday and Friday.
