Senior Financial Analyst-Seniors Housing Investment Sales

Purpose And Job Summary Lument, a subsidiary of ORIX USA, provides comprehensive capital solutions for multifamily, affordable, seniors and health care real estate. The firm offers investment banking, mortgage banking, private equity, direct balance sheet lending, investment sales, and mergers and acquisitions.

The Investment Sales Senior Financial Analyst focuses exclusively on the sale of seniors housing real estate transactions. The role involves underwriting, market research, property tours, preparation of offering memorandums, marketing, term sheet negotiation, closing, and client meetings/events within a high‑energy, team‑focused environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Prepare investment sales advisory packages and submissions for commercial real estate transactions, including research, financial modeling, and composition of executive summaries.

Perform complex financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions and utilize market and data/comps to correctly underwrite a transaction, including calculation of Internal Rates of Return.

Prepare valuation analysis and marketing materials such as Broker Opinion of Value (BOVs), Offering Memorandums (OMs), and work with investor clients to understand current and projected value of investment real estate assets.

Manage the due diligence process and drive the marketing and closing processes for each transaction, maintaining constant communication with the Producer, team, and client. Use marketing insights to assist clients in making decisions related to their business plans and capital structure.

Operate databases effectively and determine which data to use for trend analysis and pitch preparation.

Review real estate documents (historical financial operating reports, leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.) to determine the best path forward, and possess above‑average Excel skills.

Travel Requirements Less than 10% travel.

Education, Skills And Experience

Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of two years’ experience in a financial analysis environment.

Required

Strong Excel skills with the ability to build, modify, and manage underwriting and valuation models efficiently.

Preferred

Previous seniors housing industry experience.

Salary & Benefits Annual base salary gross: $75,000 – $90,000 (IL only). The role is eligible for production incentive and includes cash bonuses, long‑term incentives, health insurance, accident and life insurance, and retirement benefits. See the Benefits page for additional information.
