About The Role We’re looking for an exceptional senior brand designer to join our high-impact, low-ego, and passionately creative team. This pivotal role focuses on world-class visual execution and scalable operations. You’ll evolve WRITER's brand design system, craft compelling visual assets across touchpoints, and establish operational excellence within our creative workflows. Your work will translate complex AI concepts into accessible, human-first visual stories for the world’s leading enterprises.
This role is about pioneering the future of our brand’s presence. You’ll build robust design processes, manage intricate projects with multiple stakeholders, and champion brand consistency across a rapidly expanding ecosystem. You’ll be comfortable leading design critiques in Figma and orchestrating project timelines in Asana, ensuring our creative output is brilliant and delivered seamlessly. The role is hybrid in San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, and Austin, and reports to the Creative Director.
⭐️ What You'll Do
Drive the evolution of WRITER's visual brand identity system across all marketing design touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand story
Design and produce high-impact brand assets, including campaign visuals, presentations, and sales collateral, translating complex AI and enterprise concepts into accessible visuals
Guide video projects (hands-on editor or manage video contractors)
Build and optimize design operations workflows, owning project planning and resource allocation for all brand design initiatives
Lead the maintenance and development of WRITER's design system in Figma, establishing best practices for file organization, version control, and reusable components
Manage end-to-end project execution for all brand design workstreams using Asana, crafting detailed project plans and facilitating cross-functional collaboration
Partner with product, marketing, and sales to translate business objectives into visual strategies and present design concepts to stakeholders
Mentor fellow designers, sharing expertise and continuously innovating WRITER's brand presentation
What You Need
Minimum 5 years of professional brand design experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity, in B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise software
Exceptional portfolio showing sophisticated brand identity development, impactful campaign design, and visual storytelling
Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Asana, plus typography, color theory, composition, and layout
Proven ability to build and optimize scalable design processes and manage complex projects
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to influence creative direction and challenge the status quo constructively
Experience leading design critiques, mentoring, and contributing to a culture of high-quality output
Understanding of brand strategy and how design supports business objectives, with agility to adapt to market trends
