Job Summary

Mid-Market Sales Engineer – Accenture Cybersecurity.

Act as the primary technical guide for mid‑market clients, helping them navigate complex security challenges, design solutions, and achieve business outcomes. Responsibilities

Act as the client's trusted advisor, guiding them on cybersecurity solutions and how to build technologies structured for continuous innovation and growth. Architect and design cutting‑edge cyber solutions that are directly tied to achieving tangible business outcomes and a strong return on investment. Illustrate the “art of the possible” by leading technical workshops and proof‑of‑concept (POC) demonstrations that showcase how Accenture’s mid‑market solutions operate, are easy to adopt, and address security risk gaps. Serve as the technical authority for the client, providing expert guidance on industry best practices, solution feasibility, and technology strategy to de‑risk investments. Collaborate on crafting value‑driven proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring the technical solution is sound, innovative, and aligned with the client’s vision for success. Ensure a smooth transition from sales through implementation, aligning customer expectations with the delivery team's execution plan. Help shape and define future cybersecurity offers working with internal Accenture SMEs and ecosystem partners. Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a hands‑on, client‑facing technology role (e.g., Security Engineer, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technology Consultant). Minimum 10 years of experience architecting and building security solutions across SOC, MDR, Identity Protection, Network Security, Zero Trust, cloud security, regulatory compliance, and AI‑driven security solutions. Minimum 10 years of consulting or sales experience leading innovation and stakeholder management, including engineering, operating models, and engineering best practices. Minimum 7 years of experience understanding cybersecurity services and the challenges faced by mid‑market companies today. Minimum 7 years of experience leading delivery teams, distributed globally and well versed in project management methodologies and industry best practices. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience (12 years). If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years of work experience. Travel may be required for this role. Travel can vary between 0–100% depending on client requirements. Compensation

Salary ranges vary by location and role level.
