About the Role: As an Automotive Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to develop strong client relationships and provide tailored product solutions that align with customers' needs and expectations. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience while contributing to the dealership's overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture long‑lasting relationships to develop a loyal clientele.
Consultative Selling:
Assist customers in selecting vehicles by asking insightful questions and actively listening to their needs.
Product Knowledge:
Continuously develop expertise in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicle offerings, optional packages, and the latest automotive technologies.
Vehicle Demonstrations:
Conduct high‑quality, professional demonstrations of new and used vehicles.
Follow‑Up:
Maintain contact with buyers to ensure satisfaction and encourage referral business.
Sales Excellence:
Overcome objections and thrive in sales situations, consistently achieving sales targets.
Ethical Conduct:
Conduct all business activities in an ethical and professional manner.
Reporting:
Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, and performance reviews.
Professional Appearance:
Maintain a professional appearance as per dealership policies.
Positive Attitude:
Bring a positive attitude and energy to the team every day.
Qualifications:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
Ambition and a self‑starter mentality with a desire for success.
Ability to quickly learn and retain product information.
Strong communication skills for effective customer and team interactions.
Professional, well‑groomed appearance.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Compensation & Pay Plans:
Salaried Pay Plan:
A stable, fixed salary for consistent income.
Draw/Commission Pay Plan:
A more performance‑based plan where your earnings are tied to your sales success.
Protected Salary Pay Plan:
Available during your probationary period, this plan provides guaranteed income while you transition into the role.
Bonus Opportunities:
Earn monthly bonuses, spiffs, and commissions, with pay plans designed to exceed industry standards.
Sign On Bonus:
$500.00 Total. ($250.00 paid after 30 days of employment, $250.00 paid upon completion of 90‑Day Probationary Period).
