Salary Range: $175,000.00 To $200,000.00 Annually

Job Summary As the Senior Trade Marketing Director at Stateside Brands, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and be the driving force of our national trade strategy—driving brand growth at the point of purchase and consumption. This role is responsible for translating brand strategy into best-in-class execution across all markets, accelerating awareness, trial, and recruitment across the portfolio. As a key leader across Marketing, Sales, and Distribution networks, you will ensure best-in-class execution nationwide while enabling effective localization by market. Acting as the connective tissue between brand strategy and commercial results, you will own the development and deployment of scalable, insight-driven programs that enable Stateside Brands to win at retail and on-premise.

Success in this role requires a balance of strategic vision, team management skills, and operational rigor—owning performance against key KPIs and market share growth. You will establish clear processes, measurement frameworks, and accountability standards to elevate execution consistency and impact nationwide. This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to shape how Stateside Brands show up in market, strengthen distributor and retailer partnerships, and materially impact the trajectory of our brands.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Trade Marketing Managers and oversee Trade Marketing Associates and Event Coordinators, ensuring alignment to brand strategies and performance metrics.

Oversee local sponsorships, team partnerships, event activations, and programming while building a best-in-class suite of sales and marketing tools that drive conversion.

Own the trade investment strategy, including distributor co-op programming and budget allocation across brand building activities, ensuring optimal ROI and alignment to business objectives.

Execute the brand strategies and drive trade marketing efforts across the US, customizing quarterly programs throughout the year to each individual market and distributor territory, including sponsorships, partnerships, and events to amplify brand awareness, trial, penetration, and recruitment ensuring all deliverables are met.

Shape the national trade calendar, ensuring consistent execution while enabling localized impact across priority markets.

Collaborate with National Accounts to execute best-in-class programming across key chains and customers.

Manage consumer promotion strategies and executions, including national and regional digital coupon and rebate programs, consumer sweepstakes, QR Codes, text-to-win campaigns, and more.

Lead and refine departmental processes across partnerships, creative requests, event negotiations and approvals, budgets, QBR meetings, CPC process, and more.

Participate in key distributor QBR meetings, leveraging performance insights, activities, and investments to increase our share of mind within the distributor network.

Contribute to the annual business planning process and the ongoing management, measurement, and success of sustainable business performance against both short-term and long-term goals.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.

10+ years of experience in a dedicated trade marketing role within the Marketing department of an organization.

5+ years of proven experience in people leadership and developing teams.

Strong background in managing POS materials, coupon and rebate programs, national accounts, and national marketing programming and initiatives.

Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and project management skills.

Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders internally and externally.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy and operate with high integrity.

Proficient in digital marketing and data-driven decision-making leveraging NIQ and VIP reporting.

Valid US Driver’s License and willing to travel up to 30%.

Military experience is a plus.

Compensation

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.

The salary range refers to base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
