The Opportunity Major League Cricket is seeking a highly organized and operationally adept Marketing Coordinator for a fixed-term contract to support the delivery of MLC’s fourth season, scheduled to take place from 18 June to 18 July 2026. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role will provide critical execution support across integrated marketing campaigns, e-mail marketing, print production and match-day activations. You will be the connective tissue that keeps campaigns moving and executes key marketing initiatives across host cities. The role is anchored in marketing operations and reporting, with the versatility to support other marketing initiatives, including content capture and copywriting.

You’ll join a dynamic marketing team and gain hands-on experience in one of the world’s most dynamic sports markets.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign & Project Support: Support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager.

Asset Library Management: Maintain an organized library of marketing assets and digital content in Google Workspace, ensuring materials are current, clearly filed, and accessible across departments.

Email Marketing & CRM: Manage end-to-end production of fan newsletters and promotional emails via Mailchimp, including audience segmentation, scheduling, and deployment.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor email performance metrics including open rates, click-through, and conversion, surfacing insights to inform future send strategies.

Reporting & Analytics: Utilize Meltwater (or equivalent) to track media coverage and brand sentiment; prepare weekly KPI and digital engagement reports; prepare post-event recaps and insights.

Print Production & Asset Coordination: Oversee production and logistics of physical marketing assets across match venues; liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of printed materials.

Copywriting & Content: Draft professional copy for press releases, website articles, and internal communications; support match-day content capture (Stories and short-form social content) for the social team.

Ideal Candidate

Experience: 2–4 years in marketing, sports management, or event operations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Skills: Proficiency with Mailchimp, Meltwater (or similar), and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Travel: Ability and willingness to travel continuously from ~15 June to 19 July to Dallas, Oakland, and Los Angeles.

Physical: Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (e.g., boxes of merchandise, banners, activation equipment).

Sports Knowledge: Working knowledge of cricket preferred; enthusiasm to learn the sport quickly is essential.
