Job Overview
Our client is a growing civil engineering firm with nearly 50 years of experience, specializing in land surveying, civil engineering, traffic control, and inspections throughout the BWI area. This role is for a Billing Specialist who will interface successfully with project managers.
Responsibilities
Job costing and billing data within Deltek.
Prepare, review, and issue T&M and lump sum invoices.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and client requirements.
Maintain internal controls.
Assist with project setup, billing setup, scheduling, tracking, recording, project closeout, and billing-related communication.
Monthly invoicing for projects.
Review invoices for accuracy and process invoices accurately.
Enter billing and admin data into Deltek.
Distribute ad hoc reports to project managers.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in construction accounting or project accounting.
Strong proficiency with lookups and pivot tables.
Deltek experience is a nice to have, but not required.
