Role Description We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site New Home Consultant to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The New Home Consultant will work closely with prospective homeowners to guide them through the journey of the home building process. You will be supported with the best available home designs in the market, a high level of training, ongoing marketing campaigns and a team of professional support staff.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and client relationship management skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously
Knowledge of real estate regulations, contracts, and local market trends is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in architecture, interior design, business, construction, or a related field is a plus
Sales experience is always highly regarded; however, if you have the right attitude and ambition, the drive to be successful, and a passion for the industry, then we want to hear from you.

Know the G.J. Gardner Homes procedures and processes from initial contact through to after‑sales service
Use the G.J. Gardner software as its purpose is to have leads become contracts
Training
Participate in training sessions as provided by Franchisee
Be willing to improve skills through own initiative (i.e. attend outside training courses as deemed appropriate)
Take the initiative to learn the software in your spare time
Always feel free to ask questions from other staff members and the corporate team
Marketing Requirements
Develop and implement marketing initiatives
Participate and contribute to local franchise office marketing
Keep up to date on land availability in the area (be prepared to suggest what G.J. Gardner Home Plans might be suited for land and consider marketing strategies)
Liaise with Realtors, property developers, architects, draftspeople
Consider joining local organizations that will allow promotion for yourself and G.J. Gardner Homes and most importantly for networking
Provide high quality, prompt and professional service
Input client information in the software
Obtain Franchisee approval of quote before presenting to the client
Attend weekly meetings as directed by the Franchise owner or immediate supervisor
Provide own materials as required to perform duties (i.e. cell phone, reliable vehicle, writing tools)
