Senior Associate, State & Local Tax (Hoboken, NJ)
FandlGagnon, LLC www.fandlgagnon.com has an immediate opening for a senior associate to focus on state income tax, sales and use tax and property tax consulting and advocacy in our Hoboken, NJ office. This position also allows for hybrid work. Job Responsibilities
Senior associate level position requires applicants to have strong research skills, exceptional data management and communication skills; entrepreneurial spirit. Work on multi‑state income tax, sales and use tax, property tax and other state and local consulting engagements, audits and appeals as well as providing support for our compliance team as needed, to Fortune 500 and middle‑market companies. Daily interaction and correspondence with tax authorities, clients, and other team members. Qualifications
Requirement: bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting with 2+ years of state & local tax experience. Experience in Big 4, Mid‑Tier Accounting, or National Consulting Firm is a plus. Experience in State Tax CCH AnswerConnect and the Microsoft Office Suite (TEAM’s Word, and Excel) is required. JD, LLM, CMI or CPA designations are a plus. Ability to work independently, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks. Strong organizational, entrepreneurial, analytical, research, communication and negotiation skills will differentiate the ideal candidate. Some travel is required.
