The Role As a Senior Tax Manager with Saville CPAs & Advisors, you will play a vital role in providing strategic tax planning, consulting, and advisory solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from entrepreneurs and high‑net‑worth families to complex businesses and corporations across multiple industries. Your leadership skills, client management expertise, technical proficiency, and adherence to industry regulations will be essential in meeting crucial deadlines while delivering immense value to our clients.
Responsibilities & Duties
Maintain and build strong client relationships by demonstrating a thorough understanding of the client’s business
Work closely with clients to meet expectations and ensure that deadlines are met
Develop, implement, and oversee tax plans for individuals and businesses
Manage client accounts, including billing, fee analysis, and collections
Lead, train, mentor, and assess the performance of tax staff on projects
Coordinate with other managers to ensure proper deployment of tax staff
Recognize problems, assess alternatives, and recommend solutions
Review all work before submission to Tax Partner
Understand and adhere to the firm’s policies and procedures
Possess a working knowledge of firm technology and time and billing software
Requirements & Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent license required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of seven years of progressive tax accounting experience in public accounting, with 3‑4 years supervising a team of three or more, or 2 years of experience in a Manager role with a public accounting firm
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
Ability to lead and guide projects on a timely basis
Proficiency in CCH Axcess software, or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude
Highly motivated self‑starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
