Overview
GSE Worldwide is seeking an experienced Properties and Sponsorship Sales professional with 10+ years of proven success in sponsorship sales for sports and entertainment properties. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing high-value sponsorship opportunities across Properties-related assets, including events and hospitality programs within the tennis, golf, volleyball, pickleball and padel markets. The ideal candidate brings deep industry relationships, strong commercial instincts, and a consultative sales approach. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute customized sponsorship strategies and packages to hit revenue Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate sponsors Manage the sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution Maintain and grow relationships with existing sponsors to drive renewals and upsells Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful sponsor delivery Prepare presentations, pitch decks, and sponsorship proposals for senior-level decisionmakers Track pipeline activity and forecast revenue accurately Stay current on Properties industry trends, sponsorship valuation, and competitive offerings Represent the organization at tournaments, industry events, and client meetings Qualifications and Experience
Proven track record of closing six- and seven-figure sponsorship deals Strong existing network within Properties, sports, media, or corporate marketing Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills Experience working with brands, agencies, and C-suite stakeholders Comfortable with travel and event-based work schedules Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred Skills and Attributes
Highly motivated, revenue-driven, and results-oriented Strategic thinker with a creative, solutions-based mindset Ability to work independently while also collaborating cross-functionally Professional, polished presence suitable for premium clients and events Compensation and Specifics
Preferred locations NYC or LA Hybrid office work schedule Performance-based incentives Benefits package Salary range of $175,000 to $225,000. Ultimately, the salary will be based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and time in role, among other criteria.
