
Creative Strategist - Social Video

We’re looking for a Creative Strategist, Social Video to help us develop and communicate high-performing, video-first creative ideas across paid and organic channels. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and creative. You’ll be responsible for shaping campaign narratives, developing content concepts, and translating those ideas into clear, compelling briefs, scripts, and storyboards. You’ll work closely with our Creative Lead to bring ideas to life, while also presenting concepts directly to clients and guiding them through our creative thinking. This is a great role for someone who is deeply fluent in social video, understands what makes content work on platforms like Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, and enjoys turning insights into creative direction.
Develop video-first creative concepts for campaigns across paid and organic social
Translate brand and campaign objectives into clear, engaging content ideas
Shape overarching campaign narratives and content angles
Bring a strong understanding of social platforms and trends into ideation
Briefing, Scripting & Storyboarding
Create clear, actionable creative briefs for internal teams and external creators
Write scripts, hooks, and content outlines for short-form video
Build basic storyboards to communicate structure, pacing, and key moments
Ensure ideas are set up for successful execution by editors, designers, and creators
Client-Facing Communication
Present creative concepts, campaign ideas, and strategic rationale to clients
Clearly articulate the “why” behind creative decisions
Participate in regular client calls and contribute to creative discussions
Incorporate feedback while maintaining strong creative direction
Platform & Performance Awareness
Bring strong working knowledge of Meta, YouTube, and TikTok content formats and best practices
Incorporate performance-oriented thinking (hooks, retention, thumbstop, testing angles) into concepts
Partner with internal teams to iterate on creative based on performance insights
Partner closely with the Creative Lead to bring concepts to life at a high level of craft
Collaborate with strategists, account leads, and creators throughout the creative process
Provide guidance and feedback during production to ensure ideas translate effectively
Qualifications
4-5 years experience in a creative, content, or social-focused role
Strong understanding of short-form video and social-first content
Experience developing creative concepts, scripts, or campaign ideas
Ability to communicate ideas clearly through briefs, decks, and presentations
Comfortable presenting to and collaborating with clients
Fluency in Meta, YouTube, and TikTok platforms
