Enterprise Application Account Management Platform Owner This is a Temp‑To‑Hire, W‑2 or T4 (for Canada citizens) position. It is a fully remote role that must be based in the U.S. or Canada. Applicants must meet U.S. and Canada work‑authorization requirements.

How You'll Make an Impact The Enterprise Application Owner for the Account Management Platform (AMP) is the strategic and operational leader responsible for the full lifecycle of the platform. This role ensures AMP remains a reliable system of record for client service details, policy information, and workflow management, supporting Gallagher’s client onboarding and renewal processes. The Application Owner acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, aligning platform capabilities with organizational goals while driving enhancements, compliance, and user adoption.

Reporting

Reports to the GBS IT Vice President of Enterprise Applications & Architecture.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Vision and Roadmap Leadership

Own the Vision: Define, communicate, and secure executive alignment for the application’s long‑term strategic vision (3‑5 years).

Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain the actionable Application Roadmap, balancing new feature development, major upgrades, technical debt reduction, and eventual retirement or replacement planning.

Business Partnership: Serve as the primary liaison to Business Process Owners, translating business needs, regulatory changes, and pain points into prioritized, clear, and detailed functional requirements.

Value Rationalization: Continuously measure and report on the application’s business value and return on investment.

Prioritization and Financial Accountability

Demand Governance: Lead the intake and prioritization process for all change requests, new features, and bug fixes.

Financial Management: Own the total cost of ownership, managing the annual operating and capital budgets for the application.

Vendor Management: Manage key relationships with application software vendors, overseeing contract negotiations, license compliance, and service delivery performance.

Delivery and Operational Oversight

Delivery Accountability: Ensure the successful delivery of all major projects and features defined in the roadmap.

Operational Health: Collaborate closely with IT Operations to monitor performance, availability, and reliability, driving root cause analysis and implementing long‑term solutions for recurring operational issues.

System Integrity: Ensure the application architecture adheres to enterprise standards and maintain the application on a current, supported version.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

Data Stewardship: Ensure the application adheres to data governance policies, maintaining data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulations.

Security & Compliance: Ensure the application environment meets all corporate IT security, risk, and audit requirements.

Documentation: Maintain up‑to‑date documentation on the application’s business processes, technical architecture, data model, and license usage.

Team Leadership and Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing global IT team.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners.

About You Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree desired).

10+ years of technology experience, including at least 3 years as an Application Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Solution Architect focused on large‑scale enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, etc.).

Demonstrated experience defining and managing a multi‑year application roadmap.

Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and total cost of ownership.

Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical business leaders.

Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

Experience with Benefit Administration Systems, Dynamics CRM.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
