Position Overview
Home Relationship Manager responsible for managing 200‑300 single‑family homes, ensuring client and resident success and smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management
Serve as the single point of contact for property owners on all matters and handle escalations.
Ensure proactive communication through newsletters, updates, town halls, and maintain trust.
Adhere to contract terms and fee schedules; monitor expenses, deposits, and rents via Appfolio.
Provide financial reporting and solicit owner reviews.
Resident Management
Communicate during move‑in/out and clarify responsibilities.
Oversee ticket resolution and track lease renewals, roommate swaps, and resident requests.
Handle resident escalations and solicit reviews.
Home Management
Conduct property walkthroughs, meet vendors, and document activities in LeadSimple and Appfolio.
Track preventive maintenance and manage project scope, estimates, and timelines.
Coordinate major projects (remediation, roof, HVAC) and present plans to clients.
Manage insurance claims, compliance, and schedule inspections.
Operational / Company Responsibilities
Model excellent customer service and support team emergencies.
Use Appfolio, LeadSimple, Google, Fair Housing, and other tools.
Collaborate with finance, leasing, marketing, maintenance, technology, and business teams.
Prepare reports and SOPs; support hiring of divisional staff.

Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience
Previous scattered‑site property management experience preferred.

Tech‑savvy and adaptable to new tools.
Pay Range
85,000 - 95,000 USD per year (Washington, DC)
