The Opportunity: We are currently seeking an Associate Manager, Toy Marketing on the Action Figures Global Brand Marketing Team.
On the Action Figures Global Brand Team, we oversee the global brand strategy, developing and managing the toy line, spearheading marketing plans, and partnering with external stakeholders. The Associate Manager, Toy Marketing will play an important role in setting global brand strategies and managing product development for regional teams to execute globally. Working alongside the Sr. Manager and cross‑functional teams, the Associate Marketing Manager will ensure that the brand has exceptional marketing support, creating unique and strategic products and programs that are delivered within budget and scalable across global retail and ecommerce.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) brand is one of the most iconic franchises in entertainment, with a rich history in toys. We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Associate Manager to help drive global toy product development and marketing initiatives for this powerhouse brand.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Ensure all brand marketing projects are supported by business strategy, objectives and insights
Assist in gaining buy‑in to global product strategies at all levels, as well as executional commitment from internal partners to activate across key markets and lines of business
Work closely with the Product Design, Packaging and Development teams to bring innovative and compelling toys to market on time and on budget backed by Consumer Insights
Communicate regularly with regional teams and lines of business to ensure needs are being met
Actively manage licensor partner relationship through business performance reporting, product line development updates, and other ad‑hand requests to ensure alignment
Prepare for and deliver presentations that convey a strategic message to large audiences
Present with confidence to drive brand strategy and products
Translate brand strategy into campaigns, content, and activations
Brief and develop marketing assets by working with external agency partners
Help develop global marketing campaigns for execution at a local level
Monitor key trends, brands and competitors' performance in all markets
Lead global business reporting and analysis
Act as point of contact for brand inquiries and dissemination of brand information and assets
Take initiative to clarify ever‑changing business needs and challenges, and work appropriately with team and cross‑functional partners to find solutions
What We're Looking For:
5+ years (2 years with MBA) experience in marketing, preferably in product development
Experience with company/product/marketing that is rooted in consumer trends
Thorough understanding of marketing mix and KPIs
Experience analyzing data and managing financials
Ability to synthesize data and pull insights to create recommendations
Strong skills presenting in front of large groups
Highly organized, independent and detail oriented with strong follow‑up skills
Strong time management, planning and project execution skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid collaborative relationships
Understanding of adult collector culture, fandoms, convention exclusives and premium / DTC product strategies a plus
Passion for pop culture, toy and entertainment
