
Relationship Manager III - CLO

Duties & Responsibilities
Provide highly complex support to the largest clients with complex needs. Manage day‑to‑day client service activities and internal controls for the CLO product. Collaborate with senior management and technical staff to identify business solutions for process, policy, and system improvements. Resolve the most complex administrative issues and support senior client staff. Operate independently to service the largest clients and resolve complex issues. Provide day‑to‑day support to existing CLO accounts including billing, fee recommendations, transaction closing, cash and investment transactions, compliance monitoring, debt service calculations, payment generation, and follow‑up. Ensure accurate and timely setup or delegation of issues on all systems, prepare accounts for compliance review, and respond appropriately to compliance exceptions. Recommend and submit new business for approval and provide feedback to the sales team on pricing. Work with management to explore marketing opportunities and new products/services in the CLO space. Review legal documents to ensure operational mechanics are appropriate. Negotiate document provisions with internal and external legal and compliance teams. Assist the operational group to ensure cash processing procedures fit within any new products on board. Develop and lead trainings related to CLO products and services. Actively participate as a subject matter expert for ongoing projects and system testing. Lead the development and implementation of more efficient processes. Participate in cross‑training to learn other specialty corporate trust roles and provide support as needed. Provide indirect management of junior associates. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills
Deep understanding of corporate bank loans. Experience with various structures of bank debt, including CLOs, Interval Funds, ABLs, and Private Debt. Comprehensive knowledge of the full trade cycle: settlements, closings, loan administration, and loan agency. Strong client relationship management skills. Ability to provide a positive client experience through associate engagement, technology, workflows, and processing. Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Strong operational knowledge of general corporate trust processes and procedures. Strong leadership skills. Successful networking skills and the ability to establish a network of strategic contacts. Ability to drive change through business planning. Ability to be self‑directed. Preferred: Advanced MS Excel skills. Fundamental understanding of credit products and markets. Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of relevant experience in the CLO industry. Preferred
Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS) or Corporate Trust Master Certification (CTMC). Master’s Degree. Work Environment
Typical office environment with potential for minimal travel. Supervision/Management
No direct management responsibilities. Compensation Range
