Job Description Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for some of the largest and most forward‑thinking companies in the world, designing large hyperscale data center campuses and colocation facilities throughout the U.S. The Experienced Civil Designer role is an intermediate‑level position that performs standard techniques and procedures and applies knowledge of established methods, practices, and programs to prepare engineering and design plans. This position works closely with technical staff to find the best approach to solve engineering and design needs.
We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in working a hybrid schedule out of our Overland Park, KS, Des Moines, IA, Phoenix, AZ, Omaha, NE, and Lincoln, NE office locations. This role offers flexible work options to accommodate diverse working preferences and promote work‑life balance.
Qualifications

Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Associate degree in a related field preferred
3-5 years of drafting and design experience
Proficiency in Civil 3D
