Job Description Work with the driven and highly motivated One Platform Ad Sales organization of NBCUniversal. The Account Manager role is a strategic partner to Clients & Sales Account Executives, managing and growing NBCU’s partnerships with Advertisers and ultimately enabling our clients to reach their business objectives. You will play a key part in ensuring campaign success and communicating key campaign learnings to better support our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Play a critical role within our fast‑paced Ad Sales team to support the full sales cycle, spearheading proposals through execution.

Be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, proactively identifying strategic approaches for new or incremental opportunities as well as upselling products and services.

Contribute to revenue, advertiser education, and advertiser satisfaction through establishing and building trusted client relationships.

Deliver a best‑in‑class partnership experience for NBCU advertising clients and their campaigns while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.

Leverage strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a focus on continual improvement and learning.

Build and manage relationships with existing and potential new clients and agencies through routine communication; actively grow industry relationships to gain marketplace intelligence.

Work cross‑functionally with internal teams (Sales, Client Partnerships, Streaming & Data Products, Content Partnerships, Planning, Marketing, Research, Operations, etc.) to drive incremental revenue and increase advertiser satisfaction.

Support day‑to‑day client deliverables across the pre‑sale and post‑sale lifespan of campaigns, leading communication for all internal deliverables related to client and sales support.

Collaborate with Pricing, Inventory, Ad Ops, and Measurement teams to ensure successful campaign executions and troubleshoot client issues.

Analyze data to understand trends, communicate the “why” behind results, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to internal and external partners.

Develop campaign strategies and audience‑targeting recommendations, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of NBCU features and audience trends.

Serve as an external product expert, educating clients on new and existing ad solutions and advising on best practices to achieve advertiser KPIs.

Qualifications

3+ years of Planning and/or Account Management/Client Service experience in the media industry.

Experience contributing to revenue, advertiser education, and advertiser satisfaction.

Passion for data, process, customer success, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Ability to foster strong internal and external relationships.

Excellent interpersonal, client communication, presenting, and negotiation skills.

Self‑starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively.

Deadline‑driven, process‑oriented personality comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and growing business.

Strong analytical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.

Additional Information Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally requiring presence in the office a minimum of four days per week.

This position is eligible for company‑sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of discounts and perks.

Salary Range $85,000 – $115,000 base + sales incentive commission eligible.
