Collaborate with sales and finance teams to structure, validate, and monitor deal proposals. Provide guidance on deal structuring, pricing strategies, and compliance with company policies. Act as a liaison between sales, finance, and legal teams to resolve deal‑related issues and support initiatives to enhance deal‑desk operations. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on deal‑structuring processes, policies, and operational tools.
Duties/Responsibilities
Partner with sales, finance, and legal teams to structure and validate deal proposals
Monitor deal performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
Develop and deliver training materials in collaboration with Sales Operations to educate sales teams on deal‑desk processes and best practices
Analyze reports on deal metrics, pipeline trends, and sales performance to support informed decision‑making
Ensure compliance with company policies in all deal‑related activities
Act as a sales‑facing expert on deal structuring, processes, and policies
Drive operational consistency by leveraging CPQ and related systems
Support ad‑hoc projects and initiatives to enhance deal‑desk operations
Essential Functions
Structure, validate, and monitor deal proposals in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
Analyze deal metrics and provide actionable insights to support informed decision‑making by sales and finance teams
Act as the primary point of contact for sales teams regarding deal processes and policies
Develop and deliver training materials and guidance to ensure consistency in deal‑desk operations
Prioritize tasks effectively by meeting deadlines and managing workload efficiently
Maintain professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders
Work in a fast‑paced and high‑stress environment
Minimum Qualifications/Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and problem‑solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data‑analysis tools
Knowledge of deal structuring, pricing strategies, and CPQ tools
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a deal‑desk, sales operations, or financial analysis role
AI & Operational Fluency
AI Integration:
Utilize company‑approved GenAI tools to accelerate high‑value deliverables
Strategic Oversight:
Exercise critical judgment as the "Human‑in‑the‑Loop," by auditing AI outputs for factual accuracy, brand alignment, and the removal of hallucinations
Data Governance:
Ensure no proprietary or personally identifiable information (PII) is exposed to unauthorized models
Prompt Competency:
Demonstrate the ability to craft clear, context‑rich prompts to achieve consistent, high‑quality results across various business domains
