Associate Product Designer
TEKsystems, Phoenix, AZ, United States
Associate Product Designer
Hybrid in Phoenix
Top Global Financial Institution
About the Role We’re hiring a UX Designer to help simplify and improve digital acquisition journeys—specifically the shopping and application experience. You’ll focus heavily on form design: crafting experiences that make it easy for users to provide information accurately, quickly, and confidently. This role is ideal for a designer who can clearly articulate their design methodology, connect decisions to business objectives, and define measurable outcomes for success.
What You’ll Do
Design and optimize end-to-end form experiences that help users complete applications with minimal friction
Turn complex requirements into intuitive user flows, interaction patterns, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
Explain your design approach clearly, including the “why” behind your recommendations, alternatives considered, and trade-offs made
Tie design solutions to business objectives by defining the problem, intended outcomes, and success measures (e.g., completion rate, drop-off reduction, error rate reduction, time-on-task)
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (product, engineering, research, content, legal/compliance as needed) to deliver user-centered solutions from problem statement through release
Iterate quickly based on research insights, stakeholder feedback, and performance data to continuously improve outcomes
Ensure experiences meet usability and accessibility standards across devices (mobile, tablet, desktop)
Maintain strong attention to detail across all states and edge cases (validation, errors, focus/keyboard behavior, helper text, progressive disclosure)
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves)
Proven UX/product design experience with portfolio examples that demonstrate form design or complex task flows
Strong ability to communicate design rationale and methodology—your work must be defensible, not just visually polished
Demonstrated experience connecting design decisions to business goals and clearly defined measures of success
A disciplined design practice with high attention to detail and consistency
Comfort partnering with multiple stakeholders and navigating ambiguity while maintaining momentum
Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma) for wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration
Working knowledge of accessibility principles and inclusive design, especially as they apply to forms and data entry
Preferred Qualifications
Experience improving application or onboarding flows, especially in high-consideration or regulated environments
Familiarity with design systems and component-based design (inputs, validation patterns, error messaging, stepper flows)
Experience collaborating with UX research and/or using quantitative signals to inform iteration (funnel metrics, form analytics, A/B results)
Key Traits for Success in This Role
Tenacity and discipline: you bring focused energy to meaningful work, hold a high bar for detail, and stand behind your decisions
Infinite curiosity: you challenge assumptions, ask “why,” and push beyond the status quo to find better solutions
