This role can be based in various offices on a hybrid basis and reports to the Manager, Endpoint Applications.

Position Summary The AI Applications Specialist evaluates, customizes, implements, administers, and provides Tier 3 support for AI‑driven productivity applications across the firm, focusing on Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio. The specialist serves as the technical authority on leveraging Copilot within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem—including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform. Key duties include designing, deploying, governing Copilot agents, assisting enterprise adoption, monitoring usage, and evaluating emerging AI productivity technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the firm’s primary SME on Microsoft 365 Copilot, overseeing deployment, configuration, licensing, adoption, and optimization across all M365 applications.

Evaluate, deploy, manage, and support AI‑powered applications and Copilot integrations at the enterprise level.

Design and execute Copilot adoption strategies, including readiness assessments, pilot programs, phased rollouts, and user enablement campaigns.

Configure and manage Microsoft 365 Copilot settings, including sensitivity labels, data governance policies, and access controls to ensure responsible and secure AI usage.

Monitor and analyze Copilot usage analytics and adoption metrics using Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, Copilot management tools, Viva Insights, and related dashboards.

Stay current on the Microsoft 365 Copilot roadmap, new feature releases, and AI industry trends, and communicate relevant changes to diverse audiences within the firm.

Design, build, test, and deploy declarative agents within Microsoft 365 Copilot to address common productivity scenarios.

Implement generative AI capabilities within Copilot Studio agents, including generative answers grounded in firm knowledge sources.

Assist in developing training programs, workshops, and presentations on Copilot across Microsoft 365 applications.

Create and maintain a library of optimized prompts, prompt‑engineering best practices, use‑case playbooks, and agent‑design documentation tailored to various practice groups and business functions.

Guide and empower end users in creating their own Copilot agents, establishing best practices and standardized templates.

Evaluate and integrate Copilot Studio plugins, connectors, and extensions, and connect agents with Power Automate cloud flows to trigger automated workflows.

Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Copilot‑related issues, coordinate escalation to security, compliance, or engineering teams, and prepare all project documentation.

Deliver presentations to various audiences and appear on camera for meetings with colleagues and vendors.

Perform other duties as deemed appropriate.

Qualifications Skills & Competencies

Advise stakeholders on selecting between simple M365 Copilot agents and full Copilot Studio agents, with experience in agent lifecycle management.

Strong understanding of generative AI concepts, including large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, NLP, responsible AI principles, and AI governance frameworks.

Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, and document management.

Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, Copilot for Power Platform, and Copilot licensing models.

Experience with automation and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, and JSON.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data governance related to AI, including Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, DLP, and information barriers.

Project management skills with minimal supervision, delivering solutions under deadlines with ownership and accountability.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, translating complex AI concepts into accessible language for non‑technical audiences.

Education & Prior Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent experience.

Minimum two years of experience in applications testing, configuration, deployment, administration, and support.

Minimum one year of hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot or equivalent enterprise AI productivity tools.

Advanced expertise with Microsoft 365 Copilot across the full suite of M365 applications and deep proficiency in prompt engineering techniques.

Demonstrated experience creating declarative agents within Microsoft 365 Copilot, including configuring agent instructions and publishing agents for organizational use.

Demonstrated portfolio of building and deploying Copilot agents at both the M365 Copilot and Copilot Studio levels.

Microsoft Copilot Certification(s) or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.

AI‑related certifications a plus.

Experience creating and delivering executive‑level presentations and demos showcasing AI capabilities and business value.

Experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred.
