Job Overview The company is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to lead the ongoing development and support of its Salesforce environments. It is looking for a motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. It needs a self-starter who will be responsible for the execution of configuration, support, and improvement of its Salesforce instance.
This individual will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across every department. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing best practices.
As the Salesforce administrator, one will be doing part support, part solutioning, and part project management to bring projects through from start to completion. This person will be responsible for architecting, developing, testing, and deploying changes. This role will also be responsible for deployments from the staging environment into production.
Responsibilities
Support and optimize the Salesforce instance, ensuring the testing and live environments stay consistent and reliable.
Manage administrative tasks such as user management, user profiles, roles, custom objects, page layout changes, custom fields, flows, etc.
Design end-to-end integrations and solve problems creatively using standard functionality to simplify the user experience.
Enhance and automate the user experience, utilizing flows, validation rules, reports and dashboards.
Troubleshooting day-to-day issues with the end users.
Stay up to date with software releases and new functionality through continued education.
Document all processes, policies, training, and training collateral.
Keep end users up to date on all Salesforce changes through continued training sessions, when applicable, and training collateral.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 1-year experience as a Salesforce.com administrator.
Sales Cloud and Service Cloud certifications preferred.
Strong understanding of Salesforce tools and best practices, including understanding of page layout customization, overall UX, and permissions.
Previous experience with VisualForce and APEX code not required, but preferred.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work alone and be a self-starter.
Strong work ethic with a team-player mentality.
