On-Site Social Media Content Creator
Location Remote & On Location in Coatesville, Honey Brook, and Downingtown, Pennsylvania
Hours & Pay 5-10 hours per week | $15–$20 per hour depending on experience and growth interest. Mileage reimbursement for travel to on-site shoots.

Role Overview We’re looking for a creative, community-minded Social Media Content Creator (video content) to help manage and grow these platforms. This role is perfect for someone who loves telling local stories, enjoys connecting with people in the community, and knows how to make social content engaging and shareable.
Responsibilities
Source and create social media video content highlighting local organizations, businesses, and community events (including optional interview‑style segments)
Meet with local business owners, nonprofit leaders, and community members on site (at their place of business) to discover and share their stories
Attend community events to capture photos, videos, and firsthand stories for the platforms
Manage and schedule content across social media accounts:
19344GO (Honey Brook)
19335GO (Downingtown)
Use local resources to gather upcoming events, news, and other community‑focused stories
Collaborate in a weekly meeting with the GO LOCAL team to coordinate content calendars and brainstorm new ideas
Ideal Candidate
Lives in the Western Chester County Region or nearby
Passionate about local journalism, storytelling, and building community connections
Enjoys meeting and talking with local business owners, nonprofit leaders, and residents
Comfortable creating and editing engaging short‑form video content for social media (Reels, TikTok, etc.)
Loves attending community events and capturing authentic photos, videos, and stories
Strong writing and communication skills for social captions and short features
Organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage posting schedules across multiple platforms
Familiarity with Coatesville, Honey Brook, and Downingtown communities (or a willingness to learn and explore them)
