Whatnot Host & Social Media Manager Position Overview
We are looking for a confident, high-energy Whatnot Host & Social Media Manager to lead our Wholesale Hustle live streams while creating engaging content for Open Box Pallet Liquidation and Long Island Liquidation.
This is a dual-role position where you’ll be both the face of our live selling brand and a key driver of our social media presence.
If you’re comfortable on camera, can sell in a fast-paced environment, and know how to create content that captures attention, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities: Livestream Hosting (Wholesale Hustle)
Host live shopping events under the Wholesale Hustle brand
Present products clearly with accurate descriptions and SKU awareness
Engage viewers in real time, respond to comments, and drive bidding and sales
Maintain high energy and strong on-camera presence throughout streams
Collaborate on show structure, product flow, and promotional strategy
Track and improve performance metrics (revenue, sell-through, engagement)
Social Media Management & Content Creation
Plan, film, and edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
Create content around:
New inventory and store walkthroughs
Deals, events, and promotions
Behind-the-scenes operations
Customer finds and reactions
Stay on top of trends, sounds, and content formats
Contribute ideas for recurring content series and campaigns
In-store traffic
Audience growth across platforms
Assist with basic graphic design for:
Store signage
Social posts
Promotional materials
Qualifications
Experience with livestreaming, content creation, or on-camera work preferred
Comfortable speaking on camera in both live and recorded formats
Strong communication skills with a sales-oriented mindset
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, etc.)
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, live environment
Experience in resale, retail, or e-commerce is a strong plus

$17 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
