Job Summary / Description Arizona’s Family is looking for a high‑energy News Video Editor to join our team in Phoenix. This role shapes visual stories across broadcast, social, and digital platforms, allowing Arizonans to live their best lives.

What You’ll Do

Craft compelling narratives by editing high‑impact video for daily news, investigative pieces, and special projects across TV, web and social platforms.

Manage feeds by acquiring and routing video from satellite, microwave and handheld sources, ensuring field crews are ready for air.

Collaborate with the Chief News Editor to keep content‑management and archive systems operating smoothly.

Communicate in real‑time with control rooms and field crews to execute flawless live broadcasts.

Qualifications / Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism/Production, Communications, or equivalent experience preferred.

Preferred: two years’ experience as a news video editor in a TV newsroom.

Strong understanding of non‑linear editing.

Experience receiving video feeds from satellite, microwave, or other transmission sources.

Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment and consistently meet deadlines.

Understanding of current journalism standards.

Strong technical and organizational skills.
