We are currently seeking an Account Manager.

General Summary The Account Manager position is responsible for retaining existing customers and growing new business by developing and cultivating strong customer relationships. This position is also responsible for generating revenue from new and existing customers through consultative selling and outstanding customer service practices. This position will customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment relative to matters of significance.

This position will be a hybrid role with three days in office each week in the Washington D.C. metro area.

Essential Job Functions

Executing and managing the creative development and production cycle for multi-channel programs (email, programmatic, social, search, direct mail). Including:

Partnering with Consulting (Strategy) for new campaign design, development and implementation, including media plan, creative brief and version plan development

Partnering with Data and Analytics teams for accurate targeting, data pull, tracking and reporting

Partnering with internal and external Web Production, Email Service Providers, and our in-house Digital Team for accurate and on time email and digital campaign deployment

Partnering with Print Production for accurate and on time direct mail drop

Serving as the primary liaison between the Client and all internal departments: Strategy, Creative, Data Management, Analytics and Web Production, Print Production and Digital (Display, Social, Video)

Nurturing and growing successful client relationships

Being an advocate for the Client, translating their needs into actionable direction for the Agency; and being an advocate for the Agency, selling in our ideas

Produce program estimates, timelines and budgets with accuracy

Presenting results and final reporting to drive more effective programs

Overseeing quality control at every step of the process and anticipating potential issues

Coordinating creative development for online and offline marketing channels

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

Sense of urgency.

Proven track record of overachievement within sales environment.

High level of comfort with a technology-driven, fast-paced environment that requires ability to quickly synthesize multiple sources of data.

Sound and up-to-date technical knowledge; familiarity with using CRM systems.

Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the Company and with various business contacts outside of the Company in an articulate, professional manner. Strong phone skills and written communications skills.

Outstanding negotiating and closing skills.

Ability to build and sustain trust among customers and colleagues.

Ability to make independent choices regarding matters of significance to business operations.

Ability to travel as needed.

Education, Experience, and Certification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

3 to 5 years of high-value, business-to-business, solution sales experience is required.

Professional training in selling and account planning processes.

Minimum requirements needed to perform the job.

Scope of Job

Hybrid role with three days in office required.

No supervisory responsibility. Occasional supervision received.

Working conditions are good, with some travel, and a consistent workweek.

Errors may be serious and difficult to discover.

Contact with others inside and outside of the Company is regular and frequent.

Some access to confidential data.
