Overview

Continuous Improvement Specialist

at Novonesis – Franklinton site. This role drives and manages the Continuous Improvement programs within the Go4Excellence (GO4E) initiative. You will promote a culture of efficiency and be part of a regional and global GO4Excellence community, supporting and shaping the ways of working in Novonesis operations. Responsibilities

Develop people’s skills and improve processes through practical application of Lean principles, systems, tools, and behaviors. Create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement. Facilitate, lead, coach, and participate in structured problem-solving and improvement activities based on site priorities. Ensure collaboration between departments to avoid sub-optimal solution approaches while promoting value stream and flow thinking. Partner with site resources to develop future states and improvement plans aligned with strategic priorities. Lead and support through action – go to the Gemba, ask why, promote a learn-by-doing approach. Bring a customer-value and value-stream perspective to problem solving and improvement activities. Facilitate and lead effective strategy deployment to achieve breakthrough targets (including value stream analysis, value stream mapping, mission implementations, facilitation of improvement events, and monthly strategy reviews). Present a positive teamwork attitude and foster a climate of ownership, creativity, openness, and passion. Build rapport and communicate clearly with personnel at all levels of the organization. Effectively use software and technology (Excel, PowerPoint, Whiteboard, Teams) to visualize and streamline initiatives. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in a Continuous Improvement role or similar. Proven ability to apply Lean principles in a process manufacturing environment, delivering measurable improvements and significant business impact. Certification/Training in Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, or other data-driven process improvement methodologies. Physical ability to move about in production areas and to climb stairs, ladders, and enter tanks. Location
