Responsibilities: Define product vision and strategy that aligns with overall business goals, meets customer needs, and contributes to meeting key performance indicators

Develops a product roadmap that aligns with stakeholder expectations and resource availability

Build MVPs early, then rapidly iterate and optimize into a robust product

Engages external corporate customers and end users to understand their needs and how they can best be served through product capabilities

Monitors market, competitive, and technology trends and capabilities to shape strategy and roadmaps

Engage with stakeholders to develop business justification and obtain necessary buy-in and approval to move efforts forward

Presents strategy, roadmaps, QBR, and status updates to leadership on a regular basis

Prioritizes work efforts and provides high-level requirements for product execution teams

Bring a data-driven, structured approach to problem-solving, and turn insights into recommendations for experience and process improvements and efficiency gains

Works with internal teams and possibly external vendors to bring product roadmap to life, including UX, engineering, QA, analytics, legal, business units, marketing, and others.

Establish functional KPIs and monitor on a regular basis to determine direction and provide justification for proposed efforts, as well as to report results of previous efforts

Develop capabilities across channels (desktop, mobile, tablet, etc.), platforms, and regional sites

Education: Bachelor’s degree

MBA Preferred

Minimum Qualifications: Life Sciences education or experience required

2+ years of product management experience, including product strategies and roadmaps

Proven ability to communicate effectively with executives and technical teams alike

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that are effective with both corporate executives and execution teams

Preferred Qualifications: Digital product management or customer experience product ownership

Experience working with vendors on shared product delivery

Experience with global products and regional considerations

Track record of developing products for various platforms (desktop, mobile, kiosk)

Experience working in agile environments & familiarity with the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology

Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $113,500.00–$160,200.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
