We are seeking a highly motivated Associate for a front‑office coverage role on the Digital, Technology & Communications Commercial Banking team. The associate will receive a strong foundation of knowledge and training, gain real‑world experience and add immediate value to the team. This role focuses on developing core competencies in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and client management within the dynamic of the Digital, Technology & Communications sector.
Responsibilities
Transaction Execution: Act as a primary contributor and reviewer in all facets of deal execution, including in‑depth financial analysis, complex financial modeling, risk analysis, and due diligence for credit extensions to new and existing clients.
Client & Partner Interaction: Support senior bankers in managing client relationships and interact with internal partners across Loan Structuring & Syndications, Commodities, Treasury & Trade Services, and operations functions to deliver integrated financial solutions.
Industry Analysis: Conduct detailed company research and industry analysis to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities within the Digital, Technology & Communications sector.
Risk Assessment: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding the company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
3+ years of work experience.
Proficiency in financial modeling and financial data analysis is required.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint are second nature.
Obtain Series 63 and 79 licenses, and pass SIE, within 150 days of joining.
Education
Bachelor’s/University degree is required.
Compensation & Benefits Primary Location: San Francisco, California, United States.
Full‑time Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00.
