Indiana Wesleyan is accepting applications for the Creative Digital Media program. Courses include Digital Video Pre Production and Digital Video Post Production.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver engaging instruction in accordance with established curriculum guidelines.
Return grades and appropriate feedback to students in a timely fashion.
Maintain an inclusive learning environment.
Monitor curriculum to maintain course effectiveness and relevance.
Provide student support via email, Brightspace, and phone (as needed); - (Essential)
Qualifications According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
Preferred Credential: Master's degree in communications or art, with a concentration in film, cinematography, or video production.
Experience
Teaching experience in a university setting,
At least one year of online teaching experience required.
A minimum of three years of work experience in video production or cinematography.
Required Skills
Mastery of course content;
Knowledge of current trends in video production;
Proficiency in using, and teaching students to use, the hardware required for video production, including but not limited to video cameras, DSLRs, and sound recording equipment;
Proficiency in using, and teaching students to use non-linear editing software for video editing. Experience with the Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software preferred;
Proficiency in using and teaching students to use Animation programs preferred.
