Academy Schools, Tukwila, WA, United States

Help Us Grow a School That Changes Lives

Academy Schools is a small, innovative K–12 program serving neurodiverse learners, including students with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and related profiles. We believe school should be more personalized, experiential, and human-centered—and we are actively redesigning our model to reflect that.

We are seeking a

mission-driven, highly capable builder

to lead our marketing, admissions, and advancement efforts.

This is not a maintenance role. This is an opportunity to

create, own, and drive the growth engine of a school making a real difference .

Why Academy Schools?

A School That’s Evolving

– We are in a transformative phase, expanding hands-on learning, field trips, and using Seattle as our extended classroom.

Small, Mission-Driven Community

A Story Worth Telling

– Our work with neurodiverse learners is powerful and deeply needed—we’re looking for someone who can help share that story with the right families.

Real Ownership

– You won’t inherit systems; you’ll build them. Your ideas and execution will directly shape enrollment and sustainability.

writer, communicator, and relationship-builder

Both

creative and analytical —you can tell a story and measure what’s working

Energized by working in a small, collaborative, mission-driven environment

Deeply aligned with supporting neurodiverse learners and rethinking education

Qualifications

3+ years experience in marketing, admissions, development, or related fields

Experience in a

school, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization strongly preferred

Demonstrated experience in some combination of:

Digital marketing and/or social media management

Admissions, enrollment, or relationship-based sales

Fundraising, events, or grant writing

Comfortable learning and implementing systems (CRM, tracking tools, etc.)

Experience with tools like Google Ads, email marketing platforms, or CRMs is a plus

We currently use FACTS and Jupiter Ed but do not have a formal admissions or advancement system.

What Makes This Role Unique

You will have

real ownership and autonomy —no micromanagement

You will

build systems and strategy from the ground up

Your work will directly impact enrollment, sustainability, and student lives

You will collaborate closely with leadership in a small, values-driven team

Salary: ~$75,000 (commensurate with experience)
