Activate’s Summer 2026 Internship Program is a paid, full-time opportunity designed for
current seniors and recent graduates (December 2025 – May 2026)
who are serious about building a career in experiential marketing. This is
not a traditional shadowing internship —interns are embedded in active projects and contribute directly to real client work across the lifecycle of an event or campaign. Interns will gain exposure to: Real-time project planning and execution Cross-functional collaboration (Production, Creative, Operations) Warehouse preparation and asset management The program is designed to provide a
well-rounded, hands-on experience
that reflects the reality of working in experiential marketing. Top-performing interns may be considered for
full-time opportunities
upon completion of the program, based on performance and business needs. Internship Tracks
Interns will be placed into one of two primary tracks based on background and interest: 1. Experiential Production Internship Focused on planning, logistics, and execution of live events and activations. 2. Creative Internship Focused on concept development, design execution, and visual storytelling for experiential campaigns. Experiential Production Internship Position Summary Production Interns support the planning, coordination, and execution of live events and experiential programs. This role is fast-paced and execution-focused, requiring strong organization, communication, and adaptability. Interns will work closely with Associate Producers and Producers to bring programs to life from initial planning through on-site execution. Key Responsibilities Support development of production documents (workbacks, contact lists, trackers) Assist with vendor coordination, sourcing, and logistics planning Help manage budgets, quotes, and production documentation Conduct research and price comparisons Contribute to internal communication and planning workflows Warehouse & Preparation Participate in warehouse prep days Assist with organizing, packing, and staging event materials Support inventory tracking and asset preparation On-Site Execution Assist with event load-in, execution, and load-out Support crew logistics and general coordination Act as an operational support resource for the team Maintain professionalism with clients, vendors, and crew Qualifications & Requirements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Clear and professional communication skills Comfort working in both office and hands-on environments Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (project management tools like Asana are a plus) Willingness to travel as needed Creative Internship
Position Summary Creative Interns support the development and execution of visual concepts for experiential campaigns. This role blends creative ideation with hands-on production support. Interns will contribute to real client work, assisting with concept development, design execution, and preparation for live experiences. Key Responsibilities Concept & Design Support Assist in developing mood boards, concepts, and visual directions Support creation of pitch decks and presentations Conduct research on trends, brands, and cultural references Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions Design Execution Assist in creating graphic assets (signage, digital content, event materials) Support layout and formatting of presentations and mockups Help prepare files for print and production Ensure consistency with brand guidelines Physical & Experiential Support Assist with preparation and assembly of experience kits and materials Support styling and setup of visual elements Participate in warehouse prep days On-Site Execution Support Creative and Production teams during event setup Help maintain visual quality and brand standards Assist with staging and last-minute adjustments Qualifications & Requirements Strong creative thinking and attention to detail Basic understanding of design principles (layout, typography, color) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred) Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Interest in experiential marketing and brand storytelling Work Environment (All Interns)
