Details: 12 Month Contract, Hybrid on site in Houston 2x per week Principal Trainers will work closely with Application Analysts, Instructional Design teams, and At‑The‑Elbow support resources to ensure end users are effectively trained on updated Epic workflows. This health system is going through a massive Epic Refuel program through 2027. Responsibilities
Collaborate with Credentialed Training teams to deliver curriculum Working alongside leadership to effectively maintain and update trainings as Refuel program continues Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates
must meet both certification requirements below : 1. Epic Principal Trainer Certification Must be certified as a
Principal Trainer
in
one (1)
of the following Epic applications: Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) Epic Radiant Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Epic Inpatient Orders (IP) 2. Epic Training Environment Development (TED) Certification Experience training these modules without the required certifications will not qualify for this role. Additional Requirements
Prior experience supporting Epic implementations or large‑scale Epic optimization initiatives (Refuel experience strongly preferred) Strong classroom facilitation and adult learning skills Ability to work onsite in Houston as required throughout the program Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross‑functional Epic teams Additional Notes

– no C2C, 1099, or vendor submissions Long‑term engagement with a high‑visibility Epic Refuel program
