National Rate - America's Mortgage Company is a technology-driven mortgage company focused on delivering a faster, smarter, and more efficient mortgage experience. We leverage advanced systems, automation, and AI tools to streamline the mortgage process for both our clients and our brokers. We are currently hiring for a Junior Mortgage Loan Processor to support our growing pipeline. This role begins as a temporary position covering a maternity leave, but due to our continued growth, there is a strong likelihood of transitioning into a full-time, permanent role. We seek an energetic, motivated, and detail-oriented Jr. Mortgage Loan Processor with at least two years of experience to join our fast-paced team environment. THE ROLE

This is a key operational role acting as the bridge between sales, borrowers, brokers, underwriting, and operations. You will be responsible for helping move mortgage loan applications efficiently and smoothly from application through underwriting by ensuring files are complete, accurate, and on schedule. We are prioritizing candidates with experience in loan origination, underwriting support, or loan processing. This will help us to continue to deliver an outstanding level of service to our clients. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Review mortgage applications and client documents for accuracy and completeness Communicate and coordinate directly with borrowers and mortgage brokers to ensure a smooth closing Act as a liaison between loan officers, underwriting, and operations teams Manage and track a pipeline of loans to ensure timely closings Ensure compliance with lender and investor guidelines Utilize Encompass and other internal systems to manage loan files Leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and workflow Review and order verification of loan documentation including income, asset, and credit reports Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to gather necessary conditions for loan approval Prepare and submit loan packages to lenders and investors Conduct preliminary credit analysis and assist with underwriting processes to evaluate borrower eligibility Monitor loan progress through pipeline, providing updates and resolving any issues. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred: one year’s experience in the mortgage industry. Knowledge of mortgage guidelines, underwriting procedures, and loan origination processes, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA. Familiarity with mortgage servicing, credit analysis, escrow procedures, and TILA regulations. Experience working with contracts, banking systems, and basic math skills for financial calculations. Proficient typer and strong elementary-math skills necessary for accurate data entry and calculations. Comfortable speaking directly with clients and brokers. Comfortable using AI and technology daily. Excellent organizational skills, detail focused; with an ability to manage multiple tasks. COMPENSATION & SALARY
