
SLED Business Development Manager

Empire Technologies Group Inc is hiring a
high-performing business development leader
to build and own our SLED (State, Local Government, Education) security market.
This role is responsible for
creating pipeline, influencing projects early, and converting opportunities into revenue-
not managing inbound leads.
You will work directly with decision-makers across public agencies to identify and shape security infrastructure projects
before they reach procurement , positioning Empire Technologies Group as a trusted partner in modernization.
What You’ll Own
Build and develop a SLED pipeline from the ground up across Southern California
Identify and influence opportunities in
video surveillance and access control
Establish relationships with IT Directors, Facilities Leaders, Superintendents, and municipal decision-makers
Position Empire Technologies as a
trusted advisor
in security modernization
Leverage procurement pathways including
CMAS and cooperative contracts
to accelerate dealsOwn opportunities from first meeting through close
Expand accounts through long-term relationship development
What You’ll Be Measured On
Development of new SLED agency relationships
Consistent creation of qualified security opportunities
Who This Role Is For

You have experience selling into
SLED (government or education)
You know how to get in front of decision-makers and influence projects early
You are comfortable owning a number and being accountable for results
You operate with urgency, follow-through, and strong business presence
Compensation
On-target earnings: $150,000–$200,000
