Overview
Role Summary
The Business Translator serves as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams within the AI Accelerator. This role is critical in ensuring that AI and data-driven solutions are aligned with real-world business needs, particularly in complex healthcare environments across the US Commercial Organization. The Business Translator will lead the translation of business challenges into actionable AI use cases, enabling impactful innovation.
Responsibilities
Product alignment: Partner with pod leads to understand business strategic objectives, liaise across capability interfaces with UI/UX designers, cross‑CMO channel teams, data teams and development teams to define end-to-end requirements for Commercial capabilities, and provide clarity on objectives, value drivers, and success criteria.
Requirement translation: Elicit and structure requirements from product leads to convert them into actionable inputs and outputs for user stories and acceptance criteria for technical and product teams.
Roadmap alignment: Partner with product owners to understand strategic business goals and priorities, supporting roadmaps across the agent product management team, engineering teams and digital initiatives aligned to measurable outcomes.
Workflow redesign: Align with product and business stakeholders on adoption metrics and process workflow adjustments to communicate solution value, impact, and readiness for new ways of working.
Performance tracking & feedback review: Define and track performance metrics post-deployment with product and data teams to ensure delivery of business value and adoption by key stakeholders.
Testing & validation: Partner with development and QA teams and help develop evaluations as business SMEs to validate that solutions meet business expectations before launch.
Communication & enablement: Prepare business teams for product demos, rollouts, and adoption reviews, ensuring alignment across teams.
Culture & collaboration: Foster a culture of clarity, transparency, and collaboration across business and technical teams to enable seamless delivery.
Execute the project plan across business requirements to product timeline to ensure timely launch and iteration.
Align with governance: Confirm data access, model/feature approvals, risk controls, and compliance requirements before build.
Triage and resolve user issues; communicate updates and workarounds.
Demonstrates breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and guide colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and business impact.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or digital transformation, preferably in healthcare or life sciences
Proven experience working with AI/ML teams and translating business needs into technical requirements
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrates breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Health, or related field

Salary: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $162,900.00 to $271,500.00. In addition, this role is eligible for Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of base salary and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program. Benefits include a 401(k) with Pfizer matching, retirement contributions, paid time off, and comprehensive health benefits. Salary ranges are location-based; the United States range does not apply to Tampa, FL or locations outside the United States. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. The company does not sponsor work visas for this role now or in the future.
