Join Cotality as a Principal, X/UI Designer to lead the evolution of our AI‑native design system, blending dynamic AI outputs with human‑centric interfaces.
Job Responsibilities
Lead strategic AI projects, managing user experience direction across key initiatives.
Architect agentic workflows, facilitating research and testing with AI models.
Design adaptable interfaces for AI agents, software, and robotics, ensuring dynamic state changes.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams in agile environments to align design tokens with model outputs.
Evolve the design system, maintaining a repository of UX assets for both human‑authored and AI‑generated components.
Mentor and coach colleagues on AI competencies and industry practices.
Advocate for the user by writing whitepapers and documentation for the AI landscape.
Support handoffs by delivering accurate specifications, epics, and user stories for AI designs.
Job Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in UI, interaction, or systems design, primarily for large B2B or B2C solutions.
Proven experience using Agentic AI to create research artifacts, curate data, and synthesize insights.
Mastery of Figma and a curiosity for innovative design‑to‑code tools.
Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as they influence interaction design.
Expertise in accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
Excellent communication skills to articulate design vision and defend decisions with stakeholders.
Degree in design, HCI, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Portfolio demonstrating AI‑driven solutions that reduce redundant tasks and solve complex user problems.
Annual Pay Range 112,700 - 150,000 USD
