We are seeking a detail‑oriented
Videography/Photography Editor
to support high‑volume content production in a structured, fast‑paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in post‑production across both video and still imagery, with a strong understanding of production workflows and an interest in leveraging AI to enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency. This individual will play a critical role in editing, optimizing, and managing visual content used for instructional, technical, and brand storytelling purposes.
Location Clinton, Michigan (Hybrid)
Duration Contract (Potential to convert)
Hours 40/week
Pay Range $55-60/hr.
Responsibilities
Edit video content for clarity, accuracy, and engagement across instructional, technical, and digital formats
Retouch and optimize photography assets, ensuring consistency with brand and production standards
Manage large volumes of content, maintaining organization, version control, and file integrity
Collaborate with producers, writers, and cross‑functional teams to align on content objectives and delivery timelines
Ensure all assets meet technical specifications and established guidelines
Adapt and version content for multiple platforms and use cases (web, mobile, interactive, etc.)
Leverage AI tools to streamline editing workflows, including automated editing, tagging, metadata generation, and asset management
Identify opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency, and scalability through technology
Qualifications
3+ years of professional experience in video and/or photo editing
Strong portfolio showcasing editing work across video and still imagery
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom) or similar tools
Experience working in high‑volume, process‑driven environments (e.g., technical, instructional, automotive, or enterprise content)
Strong understanding of post‑production workflows, file management, and delivery standards
Familiarity with AI‑powered tools for editing, content generation, or workflow optimization
High attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed guidelines and specifications
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to work on‑site in Michigan
Preferred Qualifications
Experience editing instructional, how‑to, or product‑focused content
Familiarity with automotive or technical subject matter
Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
Comfort working within structured production environments with defined processes
Interest in emerging technologies and evolving content production methodologies
