Product Manager, AI Agents As AI in Google + ChatGPT increasingly shapes how candidates research companies and jobs, the employer brand is no longer just a careers page or job post. It’s the narrative that appears when someone asks an AI system about your company.

We’re building AI agents that help companies understand, monitor, and improve that narrative.

We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead this effort.

You’ll define and ship a system of outcome‑based AI agents that help employers improve visibility, reputation, and candidate engagement across AI-driven discovery surfaces.

This is an early product area at Built In. You’ll work closely with leadership, engineering, and design to define the first generation of AI agents on our platform.

What You’ll Build You’ll lead the development of AI agents that help employers understand and improve how they appear across AI-driven discovery surfaces.

These agents analyze signals across the Built In platform and transform them into actionable improvements that help employers attract the right candidates.

Improving employer content so it performs better in AI-driven discovery

Monitoring how employer brand signals evolve over time

Recommending actions that improve candidate engagement and visibility

You’ll also help design the system that orchestrates multiple agents together to deliver clear outcomes for customers.

Customers define the goal. The system coordinates the agents required to achieve it.

What You’ll Do

Translate real customer problems into repeatable agent workflows

Design agent experiences that deliver clear, measurable outcomes for employers

Work closely with engineering and data teams to build reliable AI-powered systems

Define how agents access platform data and coordinate actions

Ship quickly, measure impact, and iterate based on real usage

Partner with design to ensure AI functionality is intuitive and trustworthy

What We’re Looking For

3–8 years of product management experience building customer-facing products

Experience with prompt engineering. You must be comfortable with writing prompts and editing prompts to get the right outcomes.

Proven experience solving high-value problems for paying customers.

Experience working with engineering on systems that combine data, APIs, and AI models.

Ability to move quickly, experiment, and iterate based on real usage

Our base salary range for this role is targeted at $160,000 to $168,000 per year. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, experience and work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
