Founded in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric vehicle on a public road (Sweden, 2019). In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate such a vehicle on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies. We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.
Part commercial enterprise, part revolutionary movement, Einride is creating a zero-emission transportation system built on autonomous, all-electric vehicles and intelligent routing software, making the journey from A to B as efficient as possible.
The North America Operations team is responsible for integrating Einride's solutions with existing client infrastructure while driving meaningful growth across the region. We're looking for a Business Development Account Manager who combines a hunter's instinct for new business with the operational know-how to see deals through to long-term success. You will:
Drive new business development across North America, identifying and closing opportunities with Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts
Lead planning and execution of freight transport electrification rollouts with both new and existing customer accounts
Own the full customer lifecycle from prospecting and contract through onboarding, training, and expansion
Train customer teams on Einride's equipment, software, and best practices to maximize fleet performance and utilization
Conduct quarterly business reviews and develop account growth plans to expand revenue within your portfolio
Collaborate closely with Commercial, Product, and Operations teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences
Become a subject matter expert in Einride's full suite of service offerings, business model, and proprietary software
Travel up to 25% to visit clients, support rollouts, and build relationships on the ground
We expect you to have:
4-7 years of experience in business development, account management, logistics, supply chain, fleet management, or a related field
3+ years of hands-on experience in a shipper or customer-facing BD or account management role
Demonstrated track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
Strong understanding of freight modes a plus, including drayage, intermodal, LTL, and cross-border
Experience with business intelligence tools, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Independent, hands-on problem solver who takes clear ownership and delivers results under pressure
Genuine enthusiasm for sustainability, climate tech, and the future of transportation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
