Overview JOB SUMMARY The Senior Salesforce Technical Lead is a seasoned leader responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of Salesforce solutions development and implementation. This role requires a strong Salesforce background, extensive experience in Salesforce development, and demonstrated leadership skills. The Lead will translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform, lead technical delivery, and guide a development team while ensuring system integrity and alignment with business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products.

Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions and articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality.

Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Salesforce platform.

Lead the technical delivery of Salesforce implementations including development of custom solutions and interfaces, managing technical scope and client expectation, and maintaining system integrity.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, deployment guides, and system support guides.

Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce projects.

Design and develop customizations using Salesforce.com developer toolkit.

Architect, design, and develop custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex programming.

Establish and maintain user roles, profiles, security settings, access levels, and sharing rules.

Perform data migration and maintain data quality using standard Salesforce data tools.

Guide and mentor the development team, ensuring code and design quality.

Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and prioritize project backlogs.

Stay current with Salesforce updates and new technologies and leverage them to bring business benefits.

Ensure the Salesforce system aligns with company’s business processes and collaborate with stakeholders to continually improve and further optimize the system.

Perform code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used.

Provide mentorship and supervise the development team.

Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce updates and features to provide guidance on best practices and new functionalities.

Design and implement Salesforce-based systems and applications to meet business requirements.

Lead a team of Salesforce developers and ensure best practices in development and integration are followed.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, while maintaining high technical standards.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to business stakeholders to ensure effective use of Salesforce for their needs.

Required Qualifications

Proven 10 - 12+ years of experience in the Salesforce Ecosystem and integrations experience with various systems.

Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead for 5 years or more with experience in Salesforce Service Cloud Voice and Amazon Connect ecosystem (application, telephony, routing, AI, and DevOps layers).

Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, services, and security model.

Experience with Salesforce Development Toolkit (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, etc.).

Experience in Databricks.

Understanding of Salesforce’s data model and how and when to create custom objects, junction objects, and other model items.

Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools i.e. Jira.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field.
