Job Overview

You will own and scale the social accounts for a fast-growing, lifestyle creator and interior brand (@cherbeall) that is already in the 600K+ follower range and aiming toward 1M and beyond on Instagram, with Reels as the primary growth lever. This is a strategic and highly hands-on role for someone who has experience growing online brand presences through repeatable content systems, not one-off viral hits. Key Responsibilities

Architect and own a channel-specific content strategy for Instagram, plus supporting distribution on other platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, email, blog as relevant). Translate the creator’s brand, aesthetic, and voice into clear content pillars, series, and formats that can be produced consistently at scale while still feeling deeply personal and story-driven. Build and manage a content calendar tied to seasons, holidays, launches, and campaigns, ensuring a consistent cadence of Reels, feed posts, stories, and cross-posted content. Lead creative direction for Reels: concepts, hooks, pacing, storytelling, shot lists, and editing notes, with a strong understanding of current audio trends, retention tactics, and watch-time optimization. Run tests around content: design A/B tests on hooks, thumbnails, topics, posting times, and formats; interpret analytics; and rapidly double down on winners while sunsetting under performers. Own performance metrics for growth (followers, reach, watch time, saves, shares), engagement (comments, DMs, story replies), and conversion (traffic, email signups, product/partner KPIs) and report on them regularly. Collaborate closely with the creator on on-camera performance, narrative arcs, and series that showcase the home, decorating, and lifestyle worlds in a way that deepens community connection and drives shareability. Manage and coordinate a nimble content team (editor, videographer, designer, copy support, community manager), including clear briefs, deadlines, feedback, and quality control. Maintain and evolve brand guidelines (visual identity, tone, caption style, storytelling frameworks) to ensure all content across platforms feels cohesive and premium. Stay ahead of platform shifts, Reels features, algorithm changes, and creator-economy best practices, and proactively bring new ideas for formats, collaborations, and distribution. Required Experience

Proven track record as Head of Content, Content Lead, Social Media Lead, or equivalent for a creator or personality-driven brand, with clear evidence of leading growth. Expertise in short-form vertical video and Reels: you understand how to structure the first 3 seconds, maintain retention, and create content that is both brand-aligned and optimized for discovery. Proven ability to plan, shoot, and edit engaging photo and video assets for brand storytelling. 3-5+ years in content, social, or digital marketing, with experience owning strategy and leading others (formally or informally). Demonstrated success running data-driven content experiments and using insights from Instagram analytics, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent tools to inform creative decisions. Experience in lifestyle, interiors, home, or adjacent visual-first categories is strongly preferred. Skills and Traits
