AI Solutions Specialist
DLRdmv, Dallas, TX, United States
DLRdmv™ creates and deploys innovative Title & Registration technology and Governmental Compliance solutions to the Automotive Industry. DLRdmv offers an exciting, entrepreneurial work environment for individuals interested in being part of a growing company that is fully committed to serving its customers. Our mission is to provide best‑in‑class products and services to our clientele and earn their business every day.
Job Description As an AI Solutions Specialist you will be a critical component in that mission as you work to ensure that our team has the AI tools needed to succeed. Your primary responsibilities will be the design, implementation, and maintenance of AI‑driven tools and workflows across the organization. Initial efforts will focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform, with a clear mandate to help the company expand into additional AI platforms over time.
This role requires translating business requirements into practical and effective AI solutions that improve efficiency and support day‑to‑day operations. You will evaluate, design, and implement new AI capabilities in multiple platforms, and play an integral part in establishing and maintaining a governed, secure, and scalable AI enablement framework across the organization.
This position requires a strong technical aptitude, the ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and a practical understanding of large language models—their capabilities, limitations, and secure and effective use in enterprise environments.
The AI Solutions Specialist reports to Audit & Compliance leadership and will work closely with technology and product teams to ensure AI solutions align with DLRdmv’s security, data‑handling, and governance requirements.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain curated Copilot agents in Copilot Studio with well‑defined knowledge sets, data sources, and intended audiences.
Develop and support workflows and automation using Power Platform/Automate to streamline key business processes.
Facilitate and assist in evaluation, prototyping, and rollout of AI platforms, coordinating with IT and compliance teams.
Collaborate with business units to gather and refine requirements for new tools, agents, and enhancements.
Evaluate and structure data sources (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) for use in AI‑driven tools while maintaining proper access controls and data boundaries.
Translate business processes into structured prompts, conversation flows, and AI‑driven workflows that provide measurable value to end users, regardless of the underlying AI platform.
Ensure AI solutions adhere to established access controls, data‑protection, and classification policies in partnership with Audit & Compliance and Security.
Design and implement guardrails and ensure accuracy in logging and monitoring to support auditability and identification of inappropriate or out‑of‑policy AI usage across all AI platforms.
Document AI solutions, including design decisions, data sources, permissions, and maintenance procedures, to support long‑term sustainability and handoff.
Provide training, demonstrations, and user guidance to promote effective adoption of AI tools throughout the organization.
Maintain awareness of emerging AI, LLM, and automation capabilities in order to make recommendations for improvements and new use cases.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and business experience.
1–4 years of experience in an IT, systems, automation, or similar technical role in a production environment.
Practical experience as an administrator or power user with Microsoft 365 (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID) and/or Power Platform/Power Automate.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and document business processes and convert them into structured workflows or automations.
Understanding of risks associated with LLM‑based systems (including data leakage, overexposure of sensitive information, and grounding limitations) and effective mitigation strategies.
Experience working within structured deployment and change management processes for technical solutions (source control, pull‑requests and approvals, controlled rollout).
Demonstrated experience designing, testing, and refining prompts and AI‑driven workflows with Microsoft 365 Copilot/Copilot Studio and other enterprise models.
Working knowledge of identity, access control, and data governance controls within Microsoft 365, including sensitivity labels, DLP, and permission scoping, and how these impact AI‑driven solutions.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to continued learning in the AI space.
DLRdmv offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including life, medical, dental, vision, and more.
DLRdmv is an EEO Employer. We sincerely appreciate your interest and will carefully evaluate your qualifications for employment. Be assured your opportunity for employment with our company will be based only on your merit without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, mental or physical disability, or any other factor unrelated to job requirements.
