Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing and maintaining a book of business, ensuring high client retention, and delivering exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, particularly in handling large group accounts, captives, and alternative funding. Compensation Package

Salary: Up to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment: Hybrid work model preferred, with the option for fully onsite work.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, focusing on large group accounts and captives.

Oversee the renewal process, marketing efforts, and open enrollment activities.

Quote and market new and renewal business to ensure competitive pricing and coverage.

Collaborate with producers and other account managers to deliver tailored solutions for clients.

Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide expert guidance to clients.

Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in employee benefits account management, with a focus on large group accounts and captives.

Licenses: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software and strong analytical skills.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and present effectively to C-level management.
