AWS is seeking a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to help customers accelerate value creation across the AWS portfolio through business transformation. The CSM will design and rapidly execute strategic migrations to the AWS cloud and build modern, cloud‑native solutions that fulfill their highest ambitions. Working backwards from customer objectives, the CSM utilizes AWS best practices to create a frictionless end‑to‑end cloud adoption experience. The CSM is a thought leader with a strategic, business mindset, leveraging technical acumen, program management, organizational change management, and communication skills to solve problems, challenge the status quo, and align multidisciplinary teams including sales, solution architecture, enterprise support, product development, professional services, and partners.
In this role you will earn trust across the customer’s organization, identify strategic opportunities, uncover cloud use cases, establish roadmaps and actionable program plans, capture success criteria, manage a large number of initiatives across the diverse portfolio of businesses, orchestrate advanced technical architectures, and establish programmatic governance. You own and drive execution excellence for the end‑to‑‑end customer cloud journey that spans IT teams, executives, and business units.
Key Job Responsibilities
Execute a near, mid, and long‑term vision and strategy for the customer's cloud transformation by collaborating with the customer and the AWS team.
Demonstrate excellent customer engagement skills through all levels of an organization and develop long‑term relationships based on excellence.
Maintain a broad and in‑depth knowledge of existing and emerging cloud technologies to unlock opportunities for customers.
Apply a strong background in change management to incorporate best practices seamlessly into project delivery.
Accelerate customer adoption through education and enablement.
Collaborate with customers in identifying and prioritizing high‑business‑impact use cases for AWS service adoption and best‑practice implementations.
Manage time efficiently and align and engage required Customer, AWS, and Partner teams to accelerate the customer’s cloud journey.
Be a thought leader across Amazon organizations to share knowledge, mentor junior CSMs, and influence industry trends.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of leading large‑scale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, realizing customer benefits, and successful program completion.
4+ years of customer‑facing work, engaging with customer executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies.
Experience leading technical and non‑technical transformation project teams across broad functional teams.
Experience in enterprise‑scale infrastructure or development‑based cloud programs/projects in a related industry.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification, or SCRUM/Agile, SAFe certification.
Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects or similar.

San Francisco, CA: $176,600–$239,000 USD annually
New York, NY: $169,000–$228,600 USD annually
Austin, TX: $153,600–$207,800 USD annually
Arlington, VA: $153,600–$207,800 USD annually
Seattle, WA: $153,600–$207,800 USD annually
