About the team & role We are building an elite team that applies frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers, sharp problem‑solvers, and builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency; it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. This high‑performing, fast‑moving team places ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards. The Trading Products team sits at the core of Robinhood’s brokerage business, building products that support millions of customers in making financial decisions. Design on this team moves faster through AI – we explore directions with LLMs early, prototype with AI tooling in parallel, and ship polished systems. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and brokerage leadership to create thoughtful, high‑quality experiences that are grounded in user needs and measurable outcomes.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead design for emerging products for active traders. You will take an AI‑first approach to design incredible experiences, shape product direction, and present ideas to leadership. This role requires balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on design execution while navigating ambiguity in a regulated environment. You will contribute to product direction, present ideas to leadership, and deliver experiences that help build trust in AI‑driven financial tools. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA and New York, NY offices, with in‑person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Present design work to cross‑functional partners and leadership, incorporating feedback into iterations
Ensure designs meet quality standards, align with regulatory requirements, and support user trust
What you bring
You have experience designing consumer‑facing digital products, ideally mobile‑first experiences
