
Associate Account Manager

Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Associate Account Manager supports the account management team by helping maintain client relationships, coordinating project deliverables, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role typically involves managing day‑to‑day client communications, preparing reports, assisting with account planning, strategic problem resolution, and helping identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage multiple high‑priority internal and external requests daily, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining strong client relationships (50%)
Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve client‑ or process‑related issues in a timely and efficient manner (20%)
Prepare and coordinate the delivery of marketing materials to support engagement with new and existing clients (10%)
Assist account managers and senior account managers in onboarding new clients and maintaining organized, up‑to‑date information for existing accounts (10%)
Investigate client information, market position, and activity to aid in preparation for meetings and account updates (5%)
Maintain accurate and current account information within internal databases and CRM systems (5%)
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare operations (Required)
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in a business role (Required)
Licensure/Certification:
None
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of account management or client service principles, sales processes, business operations, and CRM systems (Preferred)
Attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills (Required)
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (Required)
Strong organizational and time‑management skills (Required)
Computer skills including Microsoft suite, CRMs, Google Suite (Required)
Ability to interpret client needs and manage routine account activities (Required)
Ability to explain products and concepts clearly and concisely to clients (Required)
Work Environment
Location: Hybrid
Schedule: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with night and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business and cross‑facility travel as needed
Regular meetings with internal Warehouse, Pharmacy, Logistics, Safety, Compliance, Quality, Training, and Operations Management teams. This role may also have meetings with external vendor and consultant partner representatives.
Key Essential Functions
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while writing or reviewing documentation
Must be able to work on a computer for the entire shift
Must be able to attend virtual meetings with cross‑functional teams
