Overview
Would you like to build customer loyalty? Join our Channel team. We manage regional partners who are critical to our success in scaling our business with new customer acquisition. Akamai is a channel-first company, focused on trusted relationships with partners to extend reach to new customers and improve the customer experience.
Trusted Advisor Ecosystem Focus Manage Trusted Advisor partners within the Master Agent or Technology Services Distributor model. Leverage established relationships with key Trusted Advisors in specific U.S. regions. Enable partners to identify and position Akamai's security services, generating opportunities for field sales teams. Develop and execute a go-to-market plan. Build new relationships and collaborate with Solutions Engineers to onboard and support partners effectively.
Role Partner Account Executive Senior – you will be responsible for:
Engaging our Trusted Advisor ecosystem through relationships, building interest and position solutions to drive new pipeline development.
Finding and recruiting relevant partners to support the local sales teams.
Defining partner-specific plans to grow the North American business.
Acquiring new business by evangelizing Akamai's technology to recently acquired and prospective partners.
Acting as the trusted point of contact to stakeholders and partners, ensuring mutual success.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, enablement, legal and pre-sales.
What you’ll need
8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree; prior work with Avant and Telarus is a plus.
Solid expertise in channel sales management and/or business development in the Cloud Security space.
Ability to collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to problem solve and build growth strategies.
Ability to build relationships at the CXO level.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with partners to ensure success.
Analytical skills to analyze data, provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders.
