A company is looking for an Insurance Director to oversee the physician billing insurance follow-up department and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of insurance collectors and supervisors to achieve billing results Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and minimize denials Generate and present reports on claim status and financial performance to the executive team
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of physician billing insurance follow-up experience preferred At least 5 years in a management role within a physician billing environment Proficiency with Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Microsoft Office Suite Extensive knowledge of professional fee/physician revenue cycle and coding
